Abstract

Objective To study the value of laparoscopic appendectomy in the treatment of acute appendicitis. Methods 92 cases with acute appendicitis, according to the random number of packets, the laparotomy group received routine appendectomy treatment, while the laparoscopic surgery group underwent laparoscopic appendectomy for treatment. The average hospitalization time, average hospitalization expenses, the total efficiency of treatment, from the time of bed and appendicitis laparoscopic appendectomy postoperative complications were compared between the two groups, and the SF-36 table was used to evaluate the quality of life of patients before and after nursing. Results The average length of stay, the average hospitalization expenses and the time of ambulation in the laparoscopic surgery group were significantly better than those in the open surgery group (t=5.872, 9.763, 6.145, all P 0.05). After treatment, the SF-36 quality of life scale in the laparoscopic surgery group was better than that in the open surgery group(t=7.256, P<0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopic appendectomy for acute appendicitis is higher than the value of the traditional open appendectomy, it can reduce complications and accelerate postoperative suture, shorten the patients' time and the hospitalization time, reduce the burden of medical expenses, improve the prognosis and quality of life of patients, it is worthy of popularization and application. Key words: Laparoscopic; Appendicitis
