Abstract
Telehealth and virtual care (VC) can be integrated into the healthcare system as an approach to maximise its efficiency and delivery of care of remote cardiothoracic surgery patients. This has enabled the Cardiothoracic Surgical Care Team (CSCT) at Liverpool Hospital and participating area hospitals to assess and strategically plan the management of the patient early in the consultation process.
