Abstract

In this article we consider the possibility of using correlation analysis of 2D temperature fields, obtained by proces-sing the operation of convolution of arrays of thermal images. This work is a novel approach to solving the existing problems caused by the optical noise. This approach is based on the calculation correlation between the resulting «image» of the thermogram and reference «image», can detect thermal anomalies and defects in the existing equipment, and characterizes the extent of the defect. Also examine the normalized convolution charts (histograms) obtained by convertation thermal images we identified the most probable value of the surface temperature of an object, the maximum and the average surface temperature of the object and made graph of temperature versus power change. This article shows the application of the method on the example of electric vehicles (insulators and measurement and power transformers for outdoor installation), which have abrupt changes in the emissivity of the surface of.
