Abstract
The findings of a study on the characteristics of asphalt granular concrete obtained through cold milling of non-rigid coatings in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and the Russian Federation (RF) are presented. It has been established that in the DRC there are no regulatory requirements for the use of waste from cold milling of asphalt concrete pavements in the repair and reconstruction of automobile roads. The analysis of the test results of asphalt granulate samples obtained in the DRC and the Russian Federation showed that, in terms of their parameters, they meet the requirements for the material for the device of road construction. Considering the results of the study, it was found that the technology of paving with the use of asphalt granular concrete mixtures can be used in the DRC.
