Abstract

The application of anodic stripping voltammetry to the determination of the lead distribution in natural waters was studied. The optimum procedure has been developed and applied to samples of river waters. It was concluded that the method is applicable for the purpose, but may be difficult to apply in the presence of larger amounts of organic impurities. Probable effects of these impurities on the determination were discussed and a possibility of their detection outlined.
