Abstract
Objective To eraluate the therapeutic efficacy of congenital obstruation of naso-lacrimal duct. Methods Ninty-seven cases ( 117 eyes) of congenital obstruation of naso-lacrimal duct were treated by massaging lacrimal sac,pressor clysis or lacrimal passages probing according to the age. Results Fortytwo cases(52 eyes) whose age from 1 -3 months were treated by massaging lacrimal sac,among them, 31 eyes were healed(59.62% ). Thirty-four(41 eyes) cases whose age from 4 months to 1 year were treated by pressor clysis,among them, thirty six eyes were healed(87.80% ). Twenty-four eyes whose age from 1 -2years were treated by lacrimal passages probing,among them,eighteen eyes were healed(75.00% ). Conclusion The three methods( massaging lacrimal sac, pressor clysis and lacrimal passages probing) according to the age can treat the congenital obsuuation of naso-lacrimal duct efficiently.
