Abstract

The consideration of the structure of financial flows in the shadow economy is now becoming ever more relevant due to its growing impact on the Russian financial market which can manifest itself in different ways under changing conditions of business both inside and outside of the national economy. The subject of the study is the peculiarities of the formation of financial flows of the shadow business in the context of new economic realities. The purpose of the work is to clarify the conceptual apparatus and substantiate approaches to investigating the structure and size of financial flows in the shadow economy as well as to improve methods for assessing the financial flows of the shadow business in order to avoid a possible error in evaluating the financial flows of the shadow market due to the combination of existing statistical methods, sociological survey, analog modeling and parametric methods. The paper presents proposals to improve methods for estimating the volume of the shadow economy and the structure of financial flows of the shadow business in certain sectors of the national economy. It is shown that the development of calculation methods to reduce the possible error in estimating the financial flows of the shadow market is associated with combination of existing statistical methods, sociological survey, analog modeling and parametric methods. The proposals to improve the methods for estimating the volume of the shadow economy and the structure of financial flows of the shadow business in certain sectors of the national economy are presented in view to increase the accuracy and objectivity of the assessment of negative processes both at the level of the national economy and individual enterprises and organizations.
