Abstract

STEAM stems from the principle “Educate to Innovate.” It is prudent to review the “STEM Engine.” The most common skills are observation, communication, classification, measurement, inference and prediction. The enactment of education is served using Project-Based Learning, which allows independent and creative thinking. It minimizes rote memorization and maximize the practices of problem solving, creativity, research and communication. Students are logically arrive at a conclusion, idea, concept, prototype or theory. Sustainable knowledge attributes through 3 phases: Developing science process skills, Initiating practical learning application, and Sustaining students’ science learning development. PBL acts as amost proficient component to deliver STEAM education. The creation of programs are initiated by support from government section, charitable foundations, and local, regional and national corporation outreach departments. Future productive programs will exhibit both short-term applications in education as well as long-term engines for sustaining the skills and efforts of the students. STEAM education is that students become the leaders and executors of the program. Future direction of STEAM education is the infusion of personnel and lessons into the less-advantaged countries of the world Education is the key in all “third world” areas. With the growth of networking and technology, tools and resources are closer than ever before. Future vision of the learning process is the development of high quality, professional creativity/innovation/research centers for young students wanting to trend in the STEAM direction. It provides the “spark” toward scientific endeavors and a “road map” for the most proficient direction.
