Summary
The STEAM learning approach in the context of Early-Childhood Education is still a new discourse. In the context of early-childhood education, the use of the STEAM education is seen as a form of academic-oriented learning (Dell’Erba, 2019; Sawangmek, 2019) This learning is considered to prioritize academic education rather than child development. Such learning practices are a concern among academics, policy makers and practitioners in Indonesia (Wang et al, 2018). Regarding to Quigley et al, (2017) opinion, in education, the STEAM conceptual model offer's educators the ability to teach effectively using trans disciplinary science
