Abstract

Under the background of economic globalization, China has established cooperative relations with many countries in the world which includes Japan. With closer and closer exchanges between China and Japan, students’ cross-cultural communication has become an important part of Japanese teaching in Chinese universities. In China’s traditional Japanese teaching system, teachers focus on teaching grammar skills, and after the concept of cultivating students’ cross-cultural communication skills is put forward, the development of Japanese teaching in China has entered a new stage. This article starts with the analysis of the current situation of the cultivation of intercultural communicative competence in Japanese teaching in colleges and universities, and focuses on the innovative strategies for the cultivation of intercultural communicative competence in Japanese teaching in colleges and universities.
