Abstract
This article has the objective of socializing reflections that allow us to know about the search for information in academic databases, for which an analysis of the different databases, which are found in the great global information network as it is the WEB. It is based on a methodological strategy that, with a predominance of the qualitative perspective, makes it possible to describe and explain the importance of managing this type of resources for the good use of time when searching for information, identifying the technology tools and their uses in research tasks, through the use of a variety of methods, procedures and techniques for collecting information, with emphasis on bibliographic and documentary review, historical-logical and synthetic analytical methods, as well as observation. As a result, broad and enriching reflections and explanations on the subject in question are obtained, which can be useful for reorienting information search strategies and the benefit they provide to researchers in their different research activities.
