Abstract

Elementary correction of Al scraps contaminated with Fe has emerged as an alternative to existing recycling processes. The appropriate management of solidification parameters may regulate both the microstructure and the properties in a highly effective way. As shown in this article by José E. Spinelli and co-workers, number 2100822, this may allow for use in new applications with greater performance requirements.
