Abstract

The article is focused on the effect of intercultural education on the individual system of values in postmodern society. The theoretical premises of this research are to be found in the studies and theories on the relationship between society -individual- values of G. Allport, G.Lipovetski, G.Ritzer. The main conclusion of the conducted research is that the particularities of society influence the way in which people define their own system of values, and that intercultural education, defined first and foremost as ‘education for values’ plays a decisive part in shaping and confirming the individual's system of values.
