Abstract

The article presents the results of surveillance of pests of grain crops such as spring soft wheat and triticale, and also examines the effectiveness of insecticides used. Thus, in 2021, such pests as Phyllotreta vittula, Oulema melanopus L. and Haplothrips tritici were encountered in the North Kazakhstan Agricultural Experimental Station. In general, the protective measures carried out had a positive impact on the increase in the yield of cultivated grain crops. On the treated areas of spring wheat, this indicator was 13.0%, and on triticale crops it was equal to 9%. The profitability of the studied crops was at the level of 69:97%, respectively.
