Abstract
This paper summarizes the clinical researches on the acupuncture and Tuina treatment for chronic kidney diseases (CKD) at home and abroad. It is believed that acupuncture moxibustion and Tuina therapy has certain curative effect not only in improving renal function in CKD patients with dialysis or non dialysis, but also the related symptoms or complications such assleep disorder, depression, skin itching, high blood pressure, nutritional status, edema. In concluded, the therapy is worth promoting in clinical practice.
