Abstract

To study thiocetam effect and receptor antagonist of interleukin-1 (IL-1ra) (7.5 mg/kg) on the data of the glutathione system, energy metabolism and oxidative modification of proteins (OMP) on the model of alloxan diabetes in rats. It has been estableshed that the development of hyperglycemia in experimental animals was accompanied by destabilization of the glutathione system (increased levels of oxidized glutathione and a sharp decrease in its activity and reduced forms of glutathione peroxidase and glutathione reductase), energy shortages and rising levels of markers OMP - AFG and CFK. It has been proved that the course of administration of thiocetam and RAIL-1 contributed to the normalization of activity of glutathione peroxidase and glutathione reductase, levels of stabilization of energy phosphates (ATP, ADP, AM ) and OMP levels, the maximum activity was observed in IL-1ra.
