Abstract
The kinetics of strengthening the films produced from organo-dispersions of vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymers in a series of n-paraffin homologues as solvents, as well as those of the solvent evaporation during film formation, have been studied. The conclusion reached on the basis of the results is a kinetic dependence of the critical strength (porosity) of the films on the number of carbon atoms present in the paraffin molecule.
