Abstract
This research aims to evaluating the productive capacity for the sea ports in Iraq because the ports are regarded important elements in the system of sea carriage in any geographical region. The capacity depends on unloading and loading goods at ports quays in a specific period of time which appears the amount as for the navigation size and the amount of commercial exchange to any state in accordance with its connection to the regular sea carriage net, in addition to the concern with the period as for ships waiting at that ports to get services. The research has depended on the analysis systems methodology and the execution of the operational carriage movements for the sea ports in Iraq which have witnessed an obvious differentiation in the amount of sea navigation movements as well as the bad communication of those ports with the regular sea navigation and the bad efficiency as for capacity of employing those ports, definitely in the productive capacity for the quays, stores, and the level of work(operation).
