Meyer-Lee Indiana University, South Bend Robert J. Meyer-Lee did his graduate work at Yale University and is currently an associate professor of English at Indiana University, South Bend, where he teaches courses in medieval literature and linguistics. He is the author of Poets and Power from Chaucer to Wyatt (2007), as well as several articles on such late medieval English poets as Hoccleve, Lydgate, Chaucer, Ashby, Audelay, and Skelton. His first article, on Hoccleve, won the Medieval Academy of America's Van Courtlandt Elliott Prize. He is currently working on a study of the relation between socioeconomic value and literary value in Chaucer's poetry.
