Abstract
Shivering (menggigil) merupakan efek samping dari hipotermia yang mencakup gerakan tak sadar dan kontraksi satu atau lebih kelompok otot yang tidak dapat dikendalikan oleh pasien. Shivering perioperatif adalah masalah umum selama operasi di bawah spinal anesthesia. Anestesi spinal dapat menyebabkan kondisi shivering pada pasien karena menyebabkan distribusi internal panas tubuh dari inti tubuh ke lingkungan Tatalaksana nonfarmakologis secara aktif untuk mengatasi shivering post spinal anestesia diantaranya penggunaan IV fluid warmed, forced-air warming, dan Lower dan Upper Body Forced Air Blanket.
