Abstract
This study takes the IELTS writing texts of some senior one students in an international department in Quanzhou as models, analyzes and studies the phenomenon of negative transfer of native language in the texts, and formulates relevant countermeasures with the purpose of minimizing the impact of negative transfer of native language in IELTS writing. It is hoped that this study can provide new ideas and suggestions for IELTS test takers and educators in related industries through the analysis of students' texts and the proposal of countermeasures.
