Abstract
In the 60 years that have elapsed since the formation of the USSR, our nation's economy has been transformed into an intricate, highly developed complex that incorporates the economies of all union republics and that develops under a single state plan which coalesces the nation's interests with the interests of each republic. One of the important features characterizing the economy of developed socialist society is the existence of a group of branches in Department I which produce means of labor mat form the nation's fixed capital and that are the basis of socialist expanded reproduction.
