The cargo carrying capacity of inland ships is determined by geometry of water route. Changeable geometry of water routes forces the necessity of analysis of cargo carrying capacity in aspect of dynamics of those changes along water route length and during the year. The final criterion of choice of ship's main dimensions and cargo carrying capacity is the optimum construction draught.
