Abstract
This article discusses the role and importance of digital transformation in the banking system and the direction of its development in the future. Based on the data of the NBKR and dynamic, structural and graphic methods of research, an analysis was made of the trend in the development of information technologies of the banking system in the Kyrgyz Republic by region. The dynamics and concentration of the network of ATMs, plastic cards in circulation, payments by means of electronic money for the period of the COVID-19 pandemic were determined. The problems of digitalization of banking services in the current conditions of development of the banking system of the Kyrgyz Republic are considered, and ways to minimize them are identified.
