Abstract
The article demonstrates that one of the most important and original forms of embodying the issue of death and immortality is a myth, the core of which, regardless of the territorial location of the state, was the act of sacrifice and the interrelated principle of retribution. It is the myth that introduces the epistemological subject to the constructs of reality, not relying on abstract concepts and logical reasoning, but guided by visual poetized images and sensory associations. The article reveals the issue of immortality as a mythologem and as a scientific problem of many cultural concepts.
