Abstract

The magnetization and the magnetic susceptibility quantities of a single electron moving in a two-dimensional (2D) parabolic quantum dot are studied under the influence of external uniform electric and magnetic fields, in the presence of a donor impurity. The Hamiltonian was solved using shifted 1/N expansion method within the effective mass approximation. The results have been displayed as a function of physical parameters: confinement strength ω0, magnetic field strength ωc, temperature T and electric field strength F.
