Abstract

One of the activities that generates responsibility with a high social, professional and legal burden, is the performance of the health professions and in recent years, the law and this profession have been strongly linked, due to the continuing requirement of responsibility of this nature in court. Health professionals must make decisions and execute procedures; In these circumstances, they do not stop to wonder if what they intend to do can have legal consequences, since it could become a lethal obstacle, which would ultimately harm the patient. The mistakes made on these occasions will be reprehensible ethically and legally, if they have treated the patient with the appropriate means, current knowledge and following the rules that their duty imposes.
