Abstract

The article examines the forms, characteristics, principles, aims and goals of the interaction between an investigator and operational officers for solving and investigating crimes in the field of illegal drug trafficking committed using the Internet. Special attention is paid to the fact that the process of interaction cannot be regarded as the sum of efforts of separate individuals each focused on their own objects. The article highlights the need to develop a cooperative activity, a cooperative mission of interaction of all participating subjects consolidated with the mutual purpose, methods, procedures and understanding of the initial material in obtaining the final result. An attempt is made to reveal some of the features of interaction between an investigator and operational officers in solving this type of crimes. An important role is also given to the operational-tactical activities combining intelligence surveillance and investigative actions.
