The intellectual potential of the individual: a thesaurus approach to solving the problem

Abstract

A methodology for studying modern problems of the development of the intellectual potential of an individual in the context of the digital transformation of society is proposed. A distinctive feature of this methodology is that it is based on the information approach and the results of the theory of thesauri developed by professor V.A. Lukov. The signs of degradation of the intellectual potential of a person in modern society, caused by the formation of a new informational human environment, are shown. The ways and features of the development of the intellectual potential of an individual in the context of the digital transformation of Russia are considered. The recommendations for government bodies and the scientific and educational community of the country are given.
