Abstract
The article presents the main types of relationships in the family, their signifi cance and impact on the child’s development process, taking into account the fact that the home atmosphere plays a huge role in the development of the child as an individual. In the family, the fi rst acquaintance with the skills necessary for life occurs, and an understanding of life values and compliance with certain standards appears. A child is formed as an individual by the example and under the infl uence of parental behavior. A family with its own habits and culture lays down the values that correspond to this family and ensures the educational process in which the child comes to understand his or her role in the family and life.
