The Influence of Independence Learning, Discipline Learning, and Achievement Motivation in Students on Cheating Behavior

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high behavior of cheating that occurred on the college level students. This is due to the lack of independence and discipline of students in learning and high achievement motivation in a way that is not valid. The study aims to determine the effect of independent learning, discipline learning and achievement motivation to cheat on student behavior. This research was conducted in Indonesia by using the object generation Jakarta State University students in 2016. The samples used for this study was 195 respondents. Analysis of the data in this study using linear regression analysis with the application of Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 25. The data in this study are primary data, with the dependent variable and independent variables cheating behavior of independent learning, discipline learning and achievement motivation. The results obtained in this study is the discovery of significant influence between the variables independent learning, discipline learning and achievement motivation on behavioral variables cheated by 65.6%. If there is an increase or decrease in the level of independence of learning, discipline learning and achievement motivation in students, it will affect the intensity of cheating on student behavior in academic activities. and achievement motivation on behavioral variables cheated by 65.6%.
