Abstract

The research is motivated by the suboptimal performance of teachers, one of which is influenced by the leadership style of the principal who is not firm in leading, the principal should be able to act as a facilitator, motivator and be a role model for his subordinates (teachers and school staff) The principal must be able to control his subordinates in order to create a good working climate. Based on the findings above. This study aims to find out: (1) the influence of leadership style on teacher performance in Southeast Aceh Regency Islamic Boarding School; (2) the influence of organizational culture on teacher performance in Southeast Aceh Regency Islamic Boarding School; (5) the influence of leadership style and organizational culture on teacher performance in Southeast Aceh Regency Islamic Boarding School. This research based on the method is an expost facto research. The population in this study is a council of 110 teachers spread across Southeast Aceh Regency, including Darul Azhar Islamic Boarding School, Darul Iman Islamic Boarding School, and Darul Amin Islamic Boarding School. The sampling technique in this study uses the Saturated Sampling Technique, where all populations in this study are used as samples. The results of the study revealed that (1) Leadership style had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, where the significant value obtained was 0.000 < 0.05; (2) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, where the significant value obtained is 0.00 < 0.05 and (3) Leadership style and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, where the significant value obtained is 0.00 < 0.05. The magnitude of the influence obtained between variables was 98.8%.
