Abstract

Data on the effects of amphetamine following anterior hypothalamic lesions were evaluated in terms of a derived measure of feeding. The results demonstrated an exaggerated depression of the derived measure by the drug following such lesions which generally was similar to the previously reported exaggerated effect of amphetamine on food consumption following anterior and ventromedial hypothalamic lesions.
