Abstract
The Impact of Intramurals on Young Adolescents Louis L. Warren Abstract This study examines the practice of intramurals and its impact on students’ self-concepts and perceptions of their school climate. Instruments used were the Self-Description Questionnaire-II and Quality of School Life Scale. Results showed that students participating in intramurals had higher overall self-concepts than did students receiving no opportunities for intramurals as well as higher overall quality of school life.
