THE HISTORICAL EXPERIENCE OF GOOD-NEIGHBORLY RELATIONS OF PEOPLES OF THE KUBAN REGION

Abstract

The aim of the article is to examine and systematization of experience in the development of good-neighborly relations of Cossacks and Caucasian nations. This is important in a situation increases the risk of ethnic and religious conflicts. Such forms of ethnic and cultural contacts as gender communication, customs of hospitality, Kunachestva and Fosterage, Caucasian “muhajirun” and “verstanie” in Cossacks, martial fraternity of the Cossacks and Caucasian nations have contributed to the rapprochement of peoples, expanded domestic and cultural relations of the Cossacks and Caucasian nations have contributed to a better understanding of the traditions, customs and lifestyle. During long-term cultural, commercial, economic, social and political interaction, mutual influence and interpenetration, been accumulating a large and diverse historical experience of good-neighborly, peaceful and respectful relations Cossacks and Caucasian nations. Cossacks learning a wealth of experience and good neighborliness can be an important resource for the harmonization of ethnic relations in the Kuban region.
