Abstract

The problem of estimating electric power losses in electrical networks is a major aspect of power systems research. This paper discusses the use of fuzzy regression analysis for loss evaluation. In this work the construction of fuzzy regression models is examined which use fuzzy coefficients of regression having symmetrical triangular membership functions. The authors have conducted studies using all of the methods of fuzzy regression analysis in analyzing power losses in electric power distribution networks and in other general electric power problems. A comparative analysis has been conducted.
