Abstract
This paper examines the significance of multimedia communications for the humanities and social sciences. It introduces the research objectives of CREATE, a new interdisciplinary communication project being developed between the Humanities School at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) and the College of Fine Arts at the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
