Abstract

In issue no. 9 of Nachal'naia shkola I read V. N. Bylevskaia's article and decided to share my thoughts on this question. In my opinion, converting the schools to a five-day work week is a very good idea. At last teachers can live with the same rhythm of labor and leisure as the rest of the country. We need no longer search nervously for a substitute so as to start out on a three-day trip on Friday evening. We can take a trip outside the city until Monday and watch late-night television shows. How about books, children, housework, and friends? And Friday is a convenient time to visit students' families.
