Abstract
On June 14, 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers of Germany presented the comprehensive National Security Strategy. This document was provided for in the coalition agreement (November 2021), it was due by the end of 2022, but got delayed by 6 months. The strategy must be approved by the German parliament. The author analyzes its main provisions and significance for German foreign policy.
