Abstract

The article reveals the principal program provisions of Norway during its chairmanship in the Arctic Council (2023-2025) in the complex geopolitical situation in the region. Analysis of relations between Norway and Russia was carried out from the perspective of the Arctic Council activities. Acute problems of the Arctic Council as an international intergovernmental organization, directly related to the sanctions against Russia, are identified.
