Abstract
In this paper, the applications of evolutionary al gorithm in prediction of protein secondary structure and tertiary structures are introduced, and recent studies on solving protein structure prediction problems using evolutionary algorithms are reviewed, and the challenges and prospects of EAs applied to protein structure modeling are analyzed and discussed.
