The eternal concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: With special reference to India-Nepal relations

Indian states have been using this concept of Sanatan culture for a long time in their extra-state relations. This motto of Sanatan Sanskriti has also played an important place in the relations with Nepal, India's closest neighbor and which has immense connection with Indian values of life since time immemorial. Nepal, surrounded by natural beauty in the Himalayan valleys, has had cultural historical relations with India for centuries. Due to common culture, uniformity of language and script and socio-political proximity, the brotherly feeling is clearly reflected in India-Nepal relations. Since ancient times, Nepal has been so intertwined with Indian values of life that the vision of the scenario of cultural India cannot be complete without Nepal. Through this article, we will mainly explore the historical cultural relations between India and Nepal, which inspire both the countries to learn from their glorious past and carry on relations with new energy in the present scenario.
