Introduction

The field of Total Quality Management (TQM) has gained great attention in the recent past majorly due to its importance in enhancing the overall performance of an organization. The different practices of Total Quality Management play a significant role in improving the competitive advantage of organization and enhancing the performance levels of such organizations (Anil & Satish, 2016). Most studies indicate that TQM is largely used as a tool to improve the general quality of products and services produced is offered by different manufacturing companies (Anil & Satish, 2016). Companies in the manufacturing sector are much concerned with producing highly quality products in order to maintain a better competitive advantage over their fellow players in the industry (Akhtar, Zameer & Saeed, 2014)
