Abstract

The COVID-19 virus, which emerged in Wuhan, the capital of China's Hubei region, became a pandemic by affecting the whole world in a short time. Global microeconomic and macroeconomic effects have emerged as a result of the effects of COVID-19. The aim of this study is to determine the status of the enterprises in Muğla province, Menteşe district, Kötekli neighborhood during the pandemic process. The main livelihood of Kötekli enterprises is the university students residing here due to the location of the university campus. For this reason, businesses have been under a very serious debt burden during the pandemic. There is no project for structuring this debt. It has been revealed that 48.93% of the businesses in the region are closed. In addition to these businesses, 10 businesses are considering closing their businesses. If it is one of the most striking points in the study; Only 5.1% of the enterprises liked the support policy of the state, 12.2% of them could get fixed expense support from the state. Only 14.3% of the enterprises stated that they received cleaning material support (mask, protective clothing and disinfectant) from the state. This has brought the following conclusion; Both the local government and the central government did not provide satisfactory assistance to the tradesmen in the region.
