Abstract
Objective To discuss the effect of serum uric acid (SUA) complicating with hypertension for the degree of coronary artery stenosis of male patient. Methods 522 male patients with clinical diagnosisas coronary heart diseasewere selected randomlyto adopt coronary arteriography. They were divided into hypertension group (HT) and non - hypertensive group (NHT),according to the diagnostic criteria of hypertension. We compared the differences of coronary artery stenosis integral, serum uric acid and the state of platelets[platelets count(PLT), mean platelet volume(MPV), platelet distribution width(PDW)] between the two groups to explore the effect of hypertension eomplieating SUA for the degree of coronary artery stenosis. Results Coronary artery stenosis integral,SUA and PDW were significant differences between the two groups (HT>NHT, P NHT, P<0.01; HT<NHT,P<0.05). Conclusion Hypertension complicating with high SUA maybe have synergistic effects in male patients with coronary heart disease by impacting the state of platelets, and synergistic promoting or accelerating the development of coronary artery atheroselerosis.
