Abstract
Relations between current noise and resistor geometries are determined theoretically by using Green's function. The relations are written in forms of the integral of the product of the noise electric field and adjoint current density. In the case of two-dimensional resistors, it is shown that the noise amplitudes were able to determine integrating current density with respect to the increment of energy dispersion. Effects of resistor trimmings on current noise are calculated by the finite element method. The minimum noise limitation of current noise is discussed. >
