Abstract

AbstractThe effect of phonon nonequilibrium on photoelectric and photomagnetic phenomena is considered in such semiconductor samples, in which phonon energy relaxation is controlled by irradiation into the surrounding medium. The phonon distribution function is calculated in such a sample for the case, that phonon flow and minimum sample dimension are in one direction. A table of formulae determining photoconductivity Δσ and photomagnetoelectric e.m.f. VPM in several physically realizable situations is given.
