Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention on sleep quality of elderly patients with reflux esophagitis.Methods One hundred of elderly patients with reflux esophagitis from Jan.2009 to Jue.2011 were divided into two groups:intervention group and control group with 50 cases in each group.The patients in intervention group were treated with medicine and nursing care,the other group was treated with medicine only.The quality of sleep was compared between two groups.Results Compared with the control group,the sleep quality was significantly better in intervention group ( P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusions Nursing intervention can help to improve sleep quality of elderly patients with reflux esophagitis,and be worthto research deeply Key words: Elderly; Reflux esophagitis; Sleep quality; Nursing intervention
