Abstract
Intravenous infusion of 5 μg./kg. min, dopamine for 25 min, in sheep caused a rise in plasma unesterified fatty acids from 10.5 mg. to 16.6 mg./100 ml. plasma. The percentage of oleic acid in the total plasma unesterified fatty acids increased during dopamine infusion from 30.8 to 36.4% and the percentage of stearic acid decreased from 43.5 to 38.2%.
