Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of high quality nursing service on the psychology and rehabilitation of patients with chronic schizophrenia.Methods A total of 135 cases of hospital psychiatric patients with chronic schizophrenia from February 2012 to June 2013 were divided into observation group (n=68) and control group (n=67) .The control group was received general antipsychotic drug treatment and psychiatric routine care , and the observation group was received quality care on the basis of the control , then the changes be-fore and after care of the two groups were observed .Results The HAMD scores of two groups after treatment were significantly better than before ( t=12.35 , 8.64 , P〈0.05 ) , and after care , the HAMD score in observationl group was significantly better than that of control group ( t=9.37 , P〈0.05 ) ; self -efficacy scores of both groups before care were significantly better than after treatment ( t =9.43 , 4.24 , P〈0.05 ) .After treatment , self-efficacy scores of the experimental group were significantly better than those of control group ( t=5.47 , P〈0.05 ) .The overall incidence of adverse events in observation group was 11.76% , which was significantly lower than that of control group (38.81%) .(P〈0.05) .The physical function, psychological function, social function and overall quality of life scores of experimental group were significantly better than those of control group ( t=7.98 , 8.79 , 13.01 , 7.23 , P〈0.05 ) .Conclusions The quality of psychiatric care can improve the psychological state of patients with chronic schizophrenia , promote their full recovery , improve the overall level of care , reduce the incidence of adverse events , improve quality of life , and it should be widely applied.
